Posted July 25th: The Mashantucket Pequo t Tribe has agreed, through the efforts of the First Selectman, Bob Congdon, to make advanced tickets available for the citizens of Preston, Ledyard and North Stonington for entertainment held at Foxwoods. A special block will be available to ensure that local residents from the three communities get good seats. The special block will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available for ten days (depending on the terms between Mashantucket and the entertainment headliner). Please contact the Selectmen’s Office @ 887-5581 (ext.1-Donna) if you are interested in being put on a distribution list for upcoming events.
Updated June 20th, 2009: Join Pack 75 - Preston Cub Scouts! Preston is fortunate to have a very active cub scout pack. Cub Scouting consists of boys from Grades 1 through 5. We participate in many fun and educational events throughout the year including our Annual Pinewood Derby, New Years' Eve Bowling Party, Camp out at the Battleship Massachusetts, Camp out at Dodd Stadium, and many other great activities. Our pack is dedicated to encouraging the youth of Preston to be good citizens, good neighbors and good friends. Joining night is typically in early September at PVMS, but your child may join at any time throughout the year. For more information, please call Cubmaster Mark Waters @ 886-7471, email to mudff70@yahoo.com, or check out our new website at http://www.prestoncubscoutspack75.webs.com/
