The Preston Board of Finance is seeking a volunteer to serve as a member on the Board. The qualification for this position is that the selected person be a citizen and elector in the Town of Preston. The Board of Finance is responsible for preparing the annual town budget, both for the general government and the Board of Education.  We also schedule and present the budget to the Town, obtaining the citizens’ approval and followed by monitoring the budget expenditures. The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm.
