Town Clerk's Office; Absentee Ballot and Election Information

Preston Plains Middle School will be OPEN on Election Day
November 3, 2020 from 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM To Vote In Person

ABSENTEE BALLOT INFORMATION: The Secretary of the State’s Office will be sending every registered active voter an Absentee Ballot Application in mid-September 2020. If you would like to vote by Absentee Ballot please fill out & sign the application and return it in the provided envelope to the Preston Town Clerk. Ballots will be mailed out to all that request them using this application beginning October 2, 2020. When you receive the ballot in the mail you will need to fill out the ballot, sign the inner envelope and return it to the Preston Town Clerk by 8:00 PM on Election Day for your vote to be counted. Completed ballots may be mailed, dropped off in the Ballot Drop Box located outside of Town Hall or dropped off in person to the Town Clerk during regular office hours.

If you do not receive your Absentee Ballot Application in the mail please contact the Town Clerk at 860-887-5581 Ext. 2 to verify that your registration information is correct.
