The Southeastern CT Enterprise Region (seCTer) is the region’s designated private, non-profit Economic Development Organization providing a broad range of services and resources to stimulate and support economic development and diversification within Southeastern Connecticut. Issues impacting the economy of southeastern Connecticut, including affordable housing, diversity, and the need to develop resources were discussed by a panel at seCTer’s Board of Directors meeting on November 29, 2023. The seCTer Rise Grant Program is a competitive grant program, funded through the Department of Economic and Community Development, designed help small businesses grow.
