Conservation & Agricultural Commission
Conservation & Agricultural Commissions are mandated to keep an index of open space and natural resources, conduct research into the possible utilization of land areas, approve grant applications for open space and preservation purposes, and keep records of meetings and activities.

The Preston Democratic Town Committee (PDTC) is the Democratic Party organization in the Town of Preston, Connecticut.

Emergency Services Advisory Committee
Fire and emergency service in the Town of Preston is provided by the Poquetanuck and Preston City Fire Departments, the Poquetanuck Ambulance, the Preston Fire Marshal’s Office and the Preston Office of Emergency Management.

Ethics Commission
It is important that Town officials and employees understand the conflicts of interest they confront while carrying out their duties for the Town and recognize the importance of preventing conflicts from occurring, disclosing conflicts when they arise, and withdrawing from any involvement in a matter where they have a conflict.

Housing Authority
The PHA is a five member Agency that manages the Lincoln Park community in the Town of Preston located at 11 Lincoln Park Road Extension. We are a 501, nonprofit agency consisting of 40 apartment units.

Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission
Their mission is the preservation and protection of the wetlands and watercourses from random, unnecessary, undesirable and unregulated uses, disturbance or destruction, is in the public interest and is essential to the public health, welfare and safety.

Library Board of Trustees
Beyond the support of the Library, the Board of Trustees will advocate the needs for life-long education, enrichment and entertainment; and promote programs at the Library to enhance literacy within the community.
